Recurring Services allows you to bulk create and manage Tickets on a scheduled sequence: Weekly, Monthly, or Every X number of days. Instead of manually creating a new Ticket each time, Dispatcher will automatically generate Tickets at 90 day intervals until the specified end date, or indefinitely if no end date is entered.

How to Create a Recurring Service

Services that are scheduled on a recurring basis will be created from the Jobs Details page, similar to On Demand Tickets.

  1. Click Jobs

  2. Search for the appropriate Job or create a new one under Accounts

  3. Click Job ID or Address or Details

  4. Click Create Recurring Tickets

  5. Fill out the appropriate service details

  • Asset Type(s): type of bin or dumpster to take to Job Site, can select more than one

  • Billing Status (optional): select Invoiced, Paid, or Not Billable if applicable

  • Select Interval: select if this service recurs Weekly, Monthly, or Every X Days

  • Select Frequency: depending on the interval selected, specify the days or dates accordingly

  • Starting On: the date the recurring service starts, Tickets will be created in accordance with the selected frequency every 90 days

  • Ending On (optional): the date the recurring service ends, Tickets will no longer be created, leave blank if never-ending recurrence

  • Assigned Driver (optional): automatically assign a driver to all Tickets in this recurring service

  • Add Fee Details (optional): automatically add applicable fee types and details to all Tickets within this recurring service

  • Comment (optional): Use for placement details or messages for drivers. Enter any instructions that are important for the driver to note, e.g., "Please call en route" or "Place in front of the left garage door"

  • Billing Notes (optional): used to track quoted prices or any other billing information. Drivers do not see billing notes on the mobile app

  • Customer Requested Start and End Times (optional): add a timeframe in which the service should be completed to help prioritize accordingly

6. Click Create Recurring Tickets

💡Dispatcher Tip: From the Jobs page, click the Details dropdown arrow to quickly Create Recurring Tickets without the extra clicks of going into an Job’s details page.

How to Manage a Recurring Service

You can edit a Recurring Service in two ways:

  • Update all Tickets in the group - Use this option to make changes across the entire series. This is best used when something about the overall schedule needs to change, such as the frequency, starting or ending date, or fees.

  • Edit an individual Ticket - Use this option to make a one-off change to a single Ticket without affecting the rest of the series. For example, if one service needs to move to a different day that week, only that Ticket will be updated.

Update all Tickets in the group

All Recurring Services will be available to view and manage under the Jobs details page.

  1. Click Jobs

  2. Search for the appropriate Job

  3. Click Job ID or Address or Details

  4. Scroll beneath the map to view all Recurring Services

  5. Click the Recurring Service ID or the information icon

  6. Update the appropriate fields and click Save Changes

Any changes to a Recurring Service applies only to Open Tickets scheduled in the future. Past, Completed, or Canceled Tickets will not be updated.

Edit an Individual Ticket

Edit an individual Ticket within a Tickets Details page.

  1. Click Tickets

  2. Search for the appropriate Ticket

  3. Click the Ticket ID

  4. If the Ticket belongs to a Recurring Service, you will be prompted with two options: Manage Recurring Service or Edit Ticket. To update only that Ticket without affecting the rest of the series, click Edit Ticket

  5. Update the appropriate fields and click Save Changes

This edit will only update the single Ticket. If you want to go to the Edit Recurring Services page and edit the entire series, click Manage Recurring Service.
